Internet Marketing for Boutique Hotel

Boutique hotel internet marketing has dramatically changed this past few years. Never has there been a better time to get a tremendous amount of exposure, website traffic, leads, and new customers from the worldwide web, though. The opportunity to be the number one establishment in your local area is there for the taking. Here are some things to do immediately when it comes to marketing your hotel or resort online.
Use Social Networking
Facebook and Twitter come to mind as the major social networking front-runners. Facebook itself boast over 600 million users at present. Talk about a massive lead generation powerhouse! You can meet targeted people locally or related to a specific industry on social networking websites, building trust and credibility fast.
Facebook, and most other networks, now have an ads section similar to Google AdWords where you can get mass exposure in no time at all. Knowing how to harness this medium can give your hotel / resort all the growth you want.
Get Online Reviews
Google Places, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and CitySearch are a few places you can start. Hold contests and incentives for your current and past customers to get them to provide feedback. People trust other people's reviews so you can use this to your advantage when it comes to hotel internet marketing.
Amazon.com is prime example. Most often when you go there, you read the reviews before ever purchasing a book. Why? Reason being, you want to get unbiased user feedback to make an educated decision.
Create and Distribute Videos
Video is a very powerful medium to connect with any brand and get a sense of the establishment before ever being there. Customers want to see the place live before ever setting foot in your resort or boutique hotel.
If you have knowledge of search engine optimization and internet marketing, you'll be able to rank the videos on the first page of Google for high-traffic search terms, too. Then, you can sit-back as they work for you 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Start a Blog
A blog is your home-base online and can be a good place to bring the traffic to from your other lead generation campaigns. WordPress is the best platform to use and make sure the blog gets installed directly on your website. Never use a sub-domain.
It's important to post regularly on the blog and know how to optimize each post for Google and other search engines. This can be a great traffic generator once your blog establishes a bit of authority. This boutique hotel marketing strategy is like a snowball that can turn into an avalanche eventually.
Aggressive boutique hotel internet marketing is necessary for those companies wanting to grow quickly in today's time. It's the easiest and most effective way to stand out from all of the other chain and corporate hotels. Having a seasoned hotel marketing consultant by your side to implement these campaigns can fast-track your growth, too.

Explore Hanover and Bremen

Explore Hanover, Germany
If you're thinking about a vacation in Germany, a trip to Hanover may be just what you're looking for! Located in north central Germany, Hanover is home to all kinds of interesting attractions. Although much of the city was destroyed in WWII, most of it has been rebuilt. Today visitors flock to places like the Royal Gardens, the State Opera House, and the large Market Church, located in the Old Town. The Hanover Zoo is one of the best in all of Europe, and is a must visit if you're spending any time in the city.
Once you've seen enough of Hanover, it's easy to take a venture out into the surrounding area! It's centralized location makes it a great place if you're looking to visit any of the nearby cities, like Wunstorf, and the relaxing Steinhuder Meer National Park. Maybe you will want to head over to Braunschweig and check out one of Germany's most interesting buildings, the creative expressionist Rizzi-Haus. No matter where you're headed, you are sure to discover that Hanover is truly one of Germany's most underrated cities.
Take a Look at Bremen, Germany
Bremen is another fantastic less-traveled German city. It's no surprise that travelers from all over the world flock to Bremen year round for various activities, festivals and events. One must visit location is the Old Town portion of the city. The Market Square is filled with all kinds of old gothic buildings. There you will find a statue of the cities protector, "Roland" that is over 600 years old. Wine enthusiasts will want to check out the Ratskeller, which is home to the twelve oldest wines in the world, stored in their original barrels, from 1653. One fun idea after a few glasses is to stroll over to the Rhododendron-Park Bremen, which is home to beautiful gardens, streams, and lawns.
From Bremen, you have easy access to many of Germany's coastal cities. Places like Wangerland, offer ocean side views, access to delicious local seafood, and ferry ports to the scenic islands off the northern coast, like Spiekeroog. Of course you could also head south, and visit Hanover, for some world class theater. Wherever you're going, Bremen is a great location to make your home base during your next vacation in Germany.

Leptis Magna in Libya

Leptis Magna is reputed to have the best preserved Greek and Roman architecture of the world. It is supposed to contain the most complete Roman ruins in the whole of North Africa.
Leptis Magna is an ancient city standing on the Mediterranean coast. It's just one hour's drive from the Libyan capital, Tripoli. Tripoli means "three cities" and derives that name from the three small communities founded by the Phoenicians, which were subsequently urbanized by the Romans, and what we know now as north-western Libya. The three comprise of: Sabratha, to the west of Tripoli, Oea, on the site of the present capital, and the third one being Leptis Magna to the east.
This city, established in 1100 BC by the Phoenicians, attained the heights of its affluence towards the end of the second century AD, with Lucius Septimus Severus, a native son of the soil, becoming the 21st Roman emperor.
The port came as a gift from Septimius Severus. Born in Leptis in 145AD, this local boy made so good that he became an emperor, the only African to have reached that level. (While on the subject, he died in York.) Leptis, by now rich from olive oil, greatly prospered further from his benefaction, a relationship celebrated in the triumphal arch.
The arch is still there, almost intact. You can see its obsequious marble fresco in the National Museum. Like many other colossal buildings, it has been rendered to its present state initially by the desert and much later by the Italians. Shattered by earthquakes, Leptis lay buried in sand till the 1920s, when the Italians excavated and meticulously restored it during their colonization of Libya.
As of date, just about 35 per cent of Leptis Magna has been excavated, and one can still see much of the city remains fairly intact. Highlights comprise the expansive forum, the Hadrianic baths and the imposing harbor, which to some extent is now sunken in the sea. Hadrianic baths are still stirring, with one of the pools of the size of 28X15 meters, remaining in one piece. This was one of the largest bath houses to be ever built outside of Rome.
The biggest attraction is the splendid amphitheatre, constructed on the outer edge of the city to facilitate the crowds travelling from different parts of the town for watching a spectacle. It had the capacity to accommodate 16 ' 000 spectators. Here, you can still witness the wild animal traps intact, while the acoustics of the stadium amplify the roar of the sea.

Christmas Travel Deals

The hardest time of the year to find a deal on a flight, or to find any flight at all, is around the Christmas holiday. Though the weekend of Thanksgiving is considered the heaviest traveled, more people are searching for flights and other accommodations in the month of December. What you can find and the price you will pay depends a lot on when you are looking for flights, where you are going, and even on what day you want to travel. Booking early and waiting until the last minute can mean a huge increase in price for Christmas travel deals.
The very best time to search for Christmas travel deals is early in the year. This is hard when you have no idea what you are going to be doing in eleven months, but if you do, this is the time to shop for the best deals out there. Most airlines only take reservations eleven months in advance, so if you want the best deals and the best seats for any flights to anywhere, book in late January. This is great for those that always visit family each year and know when they will be going. However, most people can not do this. That does not mean you can not find deals.
Book as early as you can if January is out. The prices might not be quite as good in July, Aug, or Sept, but they are going to be better than what they would be on the first of December. It is hard to think about what you are going to be doing in December while still sitting on the beach enjoying the summer weather, but if you want to save money on Christmas travel deals, this is another good time to do it. Many have no idea what they are doing or where they are going in December just yet, but if you do, you can still find some great prices on the flights that you want.
As you can imagine, as you get closer to the holidays, finding the Christmas travel deals that you want is much harder. This is when you have to decide a few things. You can save money if you take a few layovers rather than a straight flight. You can also save money by flying into a smaller airport and then driving a few hours. Sometimes, you can get last minute deals if flights do not fill up, but that is not the norm. That does not mean you can not look though. Try looking on weekdays rather than weekend days for more options. See what you can find through online travel discount sites.
You don't have to fly to get home for the holidays. It is ideal to fly if you are going a long distance, but you can find Christmas travel deals by choosing other ways to get there. If you can find a train or bus that goes through, you can save a lot of money by going this way. It will take longer, but it will be much cheaper. You can also rent a car if you don't have one. December is a tough time to travel due to everyone wanting to go home for the holidays and the bad weather that can occur, but with a little time and foresight, you can get home for less.

What's Your Accommodation Choice During Travel

Hotel Or Apartment

Today, traveling either for leisure or business is a common thing. The need to travel has become universal, is almost within reach of the entire world to have greatly cheapened the cost of transport and breaking into the tourism market competition, which has offered travelers the opportunity to compare prices among the millions of cheap travel deals.
Online travel resources have made it possible even for ordinary people to have chance to discover worlds, cultures and places once reserved only for the wealthy. However, in return, and as a result of the logical and inevitable overcrowding that has occurred at the time of travel, today has lost much of the charm of those great journeys of yesteryear, the flavor and taste to enjoy the place of destination, to enjoy the delicacies and hotel services in which we stayed on to enjoy every detail of our trip, savoring every moment and enshrined in our memory.
Example is the trend of travelers increasingly opting for the apartments accommodation during their travels and trips, an option that is turning out to be cheaper than traditional hotel accommodation, even despite the proliferation of cheap hotels. Forced by stiff competition, apartments have lowered the cost enough to lure more guests. This competition has also forced traditional hotels, as well to improve services and low tariffs.
Certainly, the choice of the apartments is quite attractive in price, lowering the cost enough when organizing trip, whether business or holiday. This form of accommodation is good for your trip, since you have the freedom to organize everything on your own, which gives better opportunity to learn more about the reality of the place you visit and interact with local people, like when we go to a supermarket for shopping. However, the choice of the hotel accommodation still remains the most popular

Attractions of Yamashita Park in Yokohama

Yokohama City is located 30 kilometers south of Tokyo. Due to proximity to the capital and convenient access to the sea, this city became the first port to open its waters to foreign ships in 1859. Today, being the second largest city in Japan with 3.5 mln people this city accommodates a host of different global cultures in combination with the traditional Japanese culture. Yokohama is an interesting destination as a historical and cultural point. Also, it features amazing modern architecture, science and technology.
Yamashita Park is the oldest port and park in Japan stretching from the international passenger terminal along the coastline for almost a kilometer. It offers stunning views over the bay and the Yokohama Bay Bridge. The park hosts several monuments that are symbols of cultural exchange and cooperation between Japan and foreign countries. For example, the statue of The Girl in Red Shoes, Fountain of India or Water Guard, presented by its sister city San Diego, USA, in 1960. The park has the following attractions:
Osambasi Pier, built in 1896. This is the oldest pier in Yokohama city. For the Olympic Games, which took place in 1964 in Japan, the pier was completely renovated. As a result, a passenger terminal to receive foreign passenger vessels was built. Before the 2002 World Cup the terminal was again renovated and modernized. Today it plays the role of the main sea gate of Yokohama, and accepts huge cruise liners such as Queen Elizabeth II.
Hikawa-Maru Cruise Liner
Moored opposite the park Yamashita vessel, known as the Queen of the Pacific, went out to the sea for 30 years, from 1930 to 1960. Today the ship is a museum open to the public. The interiors of the ship strike with elegance and chic. Famous Charlie Chaplin once traveled on this ship.

Lighthouse
A 106-meter high lighthouse is the highest ground-based lighthouse in the world. At the height of 100 meters there is a two-tiered observation deck overlooking the magnificent panoramic view.

Silk Museum
One of the rarest museums in the world. Features is a rich exhibition of silk fabrics and finished products made of silk. At the first floor of the museum you can observe the actual process of silk production. The second floor is entirely devoted to the history of the production of silk products in Japan.

Yokohama Toys Museum
The current collection of the museum has 9,900 toys from 139 countries around the world. There are toys made of wood, wax, papier-mache, plastic, celluloid, porcelain, dough, fabrics and other materials. The museum holds regular thematic exhibitions of folk dolls. Acai Kutsu puppet theater operates at the museum.

Discover History In Wales

Not all people go on short break in Wales to enjoy the beach and theme parks. If you are one of those who want to visit historic places and enjoy the ambiance there, you would have plenty of reasons to pay a visit to some or all of the tourist attractions listed below.
St. Govan's Chapel
This is one of the hidden gems that not many people on Pembrokeshire holidays have experienced. One good thing about this chapel is that it is free to visit so if you are on a budget while on a short break in Wales, this is one place you should positively go to. Another reason why it is a good thing to search for this small chapel is the view since it is located near a picturesque beach.
Well preserved, the chapel should give you a place to reflect or meditate. Outside, you can wonder at the beauty of nature with a good chance of spotting seals on the beach below. Some tourists on Pembrokeshire holidays have commented that they were very lucky to have visited St. Govan's chapel since they not only get to spot seals basking in the sun, but having done so without paying for a boat trip.
Carew Castle
When you think of Wales, while are planning a short break in Wales maybe, images of old castles would most definitely cross your mind at one time or another. If you have set your mind into visiting a historic castle, you should go to the Carew Castle in Tenby. Tenby is a town in the Pembrokeshire County which means if you have planned your short vacation on having visiting Pembrokeshire holidays destination, you can easily go to this castle.
The ruins of the castle are considered by many to be one of the most romantic places to visit while on a short break in Wales and Pembroke holidays. A word of caution to people who believe in ghosts though; there are many stories about ghosts haunting the castle. If that is too spooky for you, fret not as it is relatively ghost-free during daytime.
Pembroke Castle
To people who love castle ruins, no Pembrokeshire holidays, or a short break in Wales would be complete without visiting the Pembroke castle, the "birthplace of the Tudor Dynasty". The guided tours are well thought-out so even if it not exactly free, you would get your money's worth. This would be a good place even for a family as there is so much beauty for every age group to appreciate.

Panoramic Los Angeles Routes

Travel agencies in Los Angeles put remarkable value on the panoramic roads of it's surrounding cities. Some people says that this journey is so scenic that it is part of the experience when traveling to your destination. I think that most people would choose to drive than fly because of this. The great combination of the scenery of the mountains and the ocean is breath taking and you will remember it forever.
Travel agencies in Los Angeles provide guided panoramic drives so guests will not miss out on the "must sees" of the place. It's pretty amazing how pleasurable a leisurely drive could be. It's like experiencing a live film reel of nature. It is best to pick weekends or school holidays for a long drive. The early start is recommended so that there will hardly be any traffic. Leave on a later time and chances are you will be moving slow because of the heavy traffic. The Malibu Beach, for example, is worth visiting for land adventurers as it provides a great view of the Pacific. Keep on northbound and you will see the Santa Monica Mountain tops rise out of the sea.
If you begin the day early, do not miss on the chance to take a side trip to Will Rogers State Historical Park. It is the ideal place for a picnic and also to watch polo on weekends. There are trekking trails and great landscapes with just a 40 minute walk. You could be in the LA neighborhood of Pacific Palisades. Along the way, you will find Gladstone's, probably the most popular dining places in Malibu. Travel agencies in Los Angeles certainly understand where this spot is because of food lovers who wish to give this place a try. It's definitely a place you shouldn't miss out on since it is an "institution" in Malibu. It's part of the entire driving experience.
As you keep on down that path, seashores, private and public are everywhere. You may want to stop and relish the breeze, grab a bite, take photos and get a dip. This is the superb prize following a hectic day's trip. It's something you shouldn't miss out on since it's not everyday that you will get to drive without the time pressure of getting late either for work or for an appointment. Driving is something that most vacationers fail to do due to their crammed itinerary when they go to LA. What they do not realize is that it's completely worth it. Call travel agencies in Los Angeles and inquire about driving tour choices. It is an experience you wouldn't want to miss.
Scenic drive tours that travel agencies in Los Angeles offer aren't generally availed by visitors. Perhaps they think that driving is a waste of time and flying is the fastest way to move from one point to another. Although this is correct, they miss out on viewing the beauty of nature on the way. One thing is for certain, the few that avail of panoramic tours experience far more than those who decide to rush from one place to the next.

Buy a Holiday Home

As more of us decide to take our breaks right here in the UK, the idea of buying a holiday home in this country is becoming increasingly popular. The UK has some wonderful places to visit and stay, both inland and on the coast. But at the same time time there also many great hotels, bed and breakfasts, luxurious static caravans and even luxury log cabins to rent while on holiday. So the big questions is: why buy a holiday home?
One of the biggest hassles when booking a holiday is to find accommodation. But if you decide to buy a holiday home, you will no longer have to worry about searching for a place to stay. You will be able to stay in your own property for as long as you want, during the summer, high season, midweek breaks or weekends.
For those looking to buy a holiday home a wide range of properties are available. They can also be bought as new or used. They all have the facilities you would expect in a modern home, such as two or more bedrooms, fitted kitchens, showers and WC and are connected up to water and power.
Depending on whether the holiday home is new or used, there is also a warranty period for the property. It should be noted that an annual rental will be payable to the holiday park where your home is situated. Sometimes part of the deal when purchasing the property includes the first years rental.
Many people are motivated to buy their own vacation property because they already know and like the area it is located and may have previously rented on the holiday park itself. If you know of an area where you want to regularly spend your holidays and breaks, but do not know of a local holiday park or where you can buy a holiday home, then check on the Internet. The same applies if you want to spread your wings and stay in a resort or holiday park you've never visited before.
If you have not visited a holiday park before, or are thinking about buying a home at a new one, it is worth checking out the facilities. In general they are excellent with bars, cafes, swimming pools, play areas for the children and most have shops and a mini mart on site.
The availability of quality homes, coupled with top class facilities on holiday parks, is why you should consider buying a holiday home.

Should You Book Your Ski Holiday Accommodation Early

The past couple of years having been very difficult for the travel industry, owing to the global crisis and recessions that have affected Europe and U.S. in particular. It's no different for the those seeking to make a living from the winter ski season, it is reported to be extremely difficult.
As visitors hold firmly onto their hard earned cash, this is the time of year that ski holiday companies start to attract interest in visitors wishing to book their skiing holidays for the 2010 / 2011 winter skiing season.
Although numerous ski travel companies went into liquidation during recent years, there will inevitably still be a huge amount of competition as the companies who remain in the sector fight for a slice of the action.
The luxury end of the market is expected to be hit extremely hard, for obvious reasons. In contrast, budget ski holiday accommodation is expected to fair the best. The businesses that are still in existence will be looking to rely somewhat on repeat business and will call on the visitors who made bookings in the previous year.
There will need to be some extra special incentives to lure the customers back to the same place, for a second year, when there is a huge amount of choice for ski chalets in France, Austria, Switzerland being the main resorts of Europe. It's a similar outlook in Northern America.
It remains to be said that those ski companies that manage to survive the 2010 / 2011 ski season will no doubt come out the other end very strong and will be well placed to grow further and survive for many years to come.
There is some good news for people who do have some spare cash and want to book ski chalets. The advantage of booking early is there are lots of companies that want to secure some business and as a result are offering some excellent discounts to those willing to book early. Your early deposits will help the ski companies survive, as they eagely await the peak booking period for ski holiday bookings.
There used to be a trend whereby visitors make their bookings last minute, but it has already been reported that some European and North American ski companies are offering huge discounts for early bookings that far outweigh the costs for any last minute plans.
Now is a great time to book an overall ski holiday package and also obtain a fantastic deal for ski lift passes, flights and ski chalets.

Aarhus Denmark - 5 Places to Visit While in Aarhus

If you are planning a trip to Aarhus, Denmark, the second largest city in Denmark, then you will want to make sure to visit the following places in order to make your trip as fun and enjoyable as possible.
Before you make any decisions about where and what to see, I suggest you think about getting a tourist card (called the Aarhus Card) which actually gives you free admission or generous discounts on many of the attractions, plus free transport on the local transportation networks. But let's take a look at what Aarhus has to offer the tourist. (All the places below charge admission.)
1. My first recommendation is a really terrific attraction called Den Gamle By, or The Old City. Den Gamle By is a collection of historical homes that have been gathered from around Denmark and transported to this park. Many of the buildings were dismantled piece by piece, numbered and rebuilt on-site. This is like taking a walk back in time and seeing how people in Denmark lived. It can easily take a whole day to explore.
2. The ARoS Museum is also a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. The ARoS is an art museum which houses both modern and classical art. Some is fantastic, like "Boy", while, in my opinion, some of the modern art seems like a "slap in the face". I really like the museum except for their so-called modern art and I usually pass through this area quickly, since only a few pieces are worth a second look. The rest of the place is amazing.
3. The Moesgaard Museum is dedicated to the exploration of the Iron Age and the Vikings. There you can find the oldest bogman in Denmark, see actual Viking houses (reconstructed) and experience real live-action Viking wars. It is lots of fun. There is an admission to the museum and indoor exhibits, but it is possible to walk around the grounds for free and see the many buildings.
4. Tivoli Friheden is an amusement park just south of the city and is similar to Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, but Friheden tends to be more about amusements and less about the gardens. There are plenty of rides, including the famous Cobra, and lots of concerts and events - a great place for children and families.
5. Concert Hall Aarhus is another fantastic place to visit. You can actually get into the hall for free and walk around if there are no major concerts going on. But it's well worth getting a ticket to one of their many concerts or activities which go on almost every day. Many of the concerts are free or have very small admission charges. Great family events.
These are 5 places that you will really enjoy visiting; most of the them are places where you can spend the whole day or afternoon visiting with your friends or family. Remember to see what discounts you can get with a tourist card. Calculate your travel charges, parking and possible restaurant discounts. This can save you a great deal of money depending on what places you visit.

Traveling doesn't have to be expensive. You can lower the costs significantly if you follow the tips here.
When people think of traveling, they often think of far-away countries. And they are indeed amazing! There is so much to see in the world. So how to choose the best destination? Now we are talking about money. Find a country where your money is worth more than back home. That way you can travel for a longer period of time without having to worry about your budget. Asia and South America are generally your best choices, and you can also consider some parts of Eastern Europe. However, unless you have a plan B money-wise, stay clear from Paris, London, Rome, Milan.. all the exciting cities you have heard so much about! They are magnificent, but you won't like the prices.
When looking for the best holiday travel deals, you need to keep your eyes open and know where to look. Compare different search engines. Create a travel alert which follows the prices for you and emails the results. Follow different airlines and their offers. And most importantly: if you know when you want to travel and where you want to go, start looking for your tickets early! Usually the price starts going up at least eight weeks before the departure, even earlier if you are planning to travel before popular holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas, when everyone seems to be traveling.
There is an alternative approach to this: if exact dates and locations are not an issue, you can try your look and wait for last-minute deals. You might find excellent offers.. or not. Have a plan B for how to spend your holiday if this one falls through. These same tips will naturally work for getting the best holiday travel deals for cruises and trip packages too.
One good way to spend less money at your holiday destination and find exciting hidden places is to ask the local people for suggestions for what to do. If you want an honest answer, ask something like "where would you go for Japanese food" (or whatever it is you are after) instead of "where should I go for Japanese food". That way they are less likely to suggest places made for tourists, since locals rarely visit them. If you are lucky, the people might show you around or invite you to have lunch with them at their favorite restaurant. Finding some local gems is both cheaper and more interesting than following your guide book to a tee.

World Hotspots for Bars and Nightclubs

Because I love travelling and clubbing, I find the best thing to do in most cases is combine them and kill two birds with one stone. Bars and nightclubs in different cities can show you a side of the city you've never seen, and give you memories you will never forget. Whether it's Sydney, Paris, New York, Shanghai, London or Ibiza, there are some countries which you have to go to in order to experience the world nightlife scene at it's best.
Down under, Sydney, Australia offers clubbing for all budgets, styles, and music. When visiting Sydney's bars, it's a great idea to get a taste of the different areas within the city and what they have to offer in terms of nightlife. Darling Harbour is a clubbing hotspot: with vibrant nightclubs such as Home Bar, Bungalow 8, and Pontoon Bar all available within walking distance of each other, this area is all class and energy. Kings Cross provides a different backdrop of dark streets, multi-level and underground nightclubs, which allow for countless nights of fun. For a truly great drunk night out, Hugo's and Soho are the way to go. Also, at the heart of Sydney metro, George St mixes classy, elegant bars and nightclubs such as The Ivy and The Establishment with cheaper (but equally busy) locations like The Pavilion.
Moving up to the Northern Hemisphere, one of Asia's nightlife centres lies in Shanghai, China. Shanghai's quick development into the 'next New York City' has an equally quick development in terms of quality of nightlife. There is no other experience that's comparable to clubbing along The Bund at night. Go into these nightclubs and you'll be overwhelmed with elegance, style, and luxury: The Bund 18 is houses multiple floors for multiple parties, with chandeliers and class at the heart of the décor. Hop down to Pudong for a night at the Pudong Shangri-La penthouse bar for views you'll never forget, or dive straight into Julu Lu (or Julu Street) for those cheap clubs that serve for an interesting night out.
Cross over to Europe next for a lifetime experience at the world's most prominent clubbing location: Ibiza. Sun, surf, drinks, and music make up this island which is nicknamed the "Party Capital of the World". You can find anything and anyone in Ibiza, and the party starts as soon as you land. During the day, check out the daytime bars and go to a morning session at DC10. Watch the sunset from one of the island's bays, then hit the world famous clubs in Ibiza: Pacha, Amnesia, Space (arguably one of the best nightclubs in the world). Be warned though: Ibiza clubbers are crazy, and you'd better be prepared to let your wild side out while you're there, otherwise you'll simply fade into the background.
Lastly, we hit the world's centre: New York City, "the city that never sleeps". With this name, it's no wonder that NYC still remains one of the hottest places in the world for clubbing. If you can't make it to Ibiza's nightclub Pacha, then no worries: there's one on the waterfront in NYC which is guaranteed to be equally awesome. Cielo also offers waterfront clubbing and great events such as Dance.Here.Now and gives you a chance to see the infamous Meat Packing District. And if you can get in, hit up Bungalow 8 because...well, why not?
No matter where you are in the world, nightlife and clubbing are a way to explore into different cities and meet some locals over a common interest: clubbing, drinking, and parties. Just remember...you can't really say you've been to a country until you experience its nightlife.

Reasons for Booking a Cruise

If you have a number of weeks holiday available and want to take the kind where you can spend some quiet time relaxing, then a cruise is your best option. Also by taking such a holiday you have the opportunity to be pampered by others for all the hard work you have done throughout the year. Okay these holidays may tend to cost a little more than the conventional resort holiday but it offers you the chance to explore other countries from a totally new perspective.
So what else would make you want to think about booking a cruise as your next holiday, whether with your partner or your family? Below we take a look at some of the reasons people are choosing this type of holiday over the more traditional ones today.
Reason 1 - You are not limited to enjoying this type of holiday at any specific time of year as you can choose one where the sun will be. Whereas with a traditional holiday most of us will choose to spend time at these resorts when the weather is at its better, the summer months. So of course you will be sharing all the facilities with other tourists who have chosen this time to take their holiday as well.
Reason 2 - Organizing a cruise for the whole family offers parents the chance to relax and unwind whilst the kids are enjoying all the activities that have been organized on board for them. Plus should the parents start to feel a little energetic as well then they have the opportunity to enjoy several different activities as well. Also should anyone not feel like doing anything on any day then of course the answer is simple they don't have to.
Reason 3 - Of course by opting to take your holiday out of the peak season times means that in many cases you can save on the cost of your cruise.

Edinburgh Castle in Scotland

There is one structure that dominates the skyline of Scotland's Capital, Edinburgh and that is the castle. In fact there is no other castle in the UK that can actually equal it and with so much history to be found within its walls it is easy to see why more than a million people each year choose to visit it.
As soon as you have climbed up to the Castle you can see why people centuries ago chose to make this area their home. We have always looked for a place that is safe and offers us refuge not only from others but also the elements. It is the volcanic rock that forms the base of this particular structure that has provided not only the most defensive position in Edinburgh but also the safest.
Of course don't limit yourself to just wandering around the grounds of Edinburgh Castle. If you feel up to it then take a walk along the ramparts. As the highest points you are then rewarded with some of the most spectacular views of not only the City of Edinburgh but also the surrounding countryside.
If you happen to reach these parts on a clear day then you are offered some wonderful views of the Mountains that make up part of the region of Scotland known as the Kingdom of Fife. Whilst immediately below you can be seen Princes Street Gardens, Princes Street and then George Street. Plus also from the ramparts you are offered amazing views of Georgian New Town Street and Queen Street that runs parallel to it. It is both New Town Street and Princes Street where the majority of the shops can be found. However on Princes Street they are only to be found on its north side so when on it you will be provided with uninterrupted views of Edinburgh Castle.

Why More and More Americans Live their Retirement Years Overseas

While some retirees don't want to leave the comfort of home and family, many more are finding the appeal of retiring overseas. It has become a trend that more and more Americans are choosing to live their retirement years overseas. For a various number of reasons, American seniors have opted to break free of the American ways and live their lives free of the hustle and the bustle of the United States. One of the main reasons that America is seeing a trend of traveling seniors has to do with the economy and cost of living. Americans living on a fixed retirement income often seek an affordable but active adult retirement community to spend their free years. With rising taxes, it is become more and more difficult for seniors to live a pleasing life on their allotted retirement funds. Landing on foreign soil can certainly make this money last a lot longer than if they were to choose a retirement facility in the US.
The boom of the Internet has offered seniors more options for retirement than ever before. With information so widely available, many are finding foreign countries more accessible. Not only are living expenses cheaper in foreign countries, but medical care and housing is also more economical when you cross our borders. Especially in many Mexican cities, seniors can often find doctors and dentists that have come to United States for their training and traveled back to Mexico to provide care at lower costs. Other countries, such as Panama have a significantly lower cost of living and an environment similar to popular United States' retirement destinations such as Florida. The Panama real estate market offers housing in every price range to every person's liking with options on the oceanfront, in Panama City and even in the mountains. Provinces such as Bocas del Toro offer sandy beaches, waterfront restaurants and a casual and relaxing retirement atmosphere. The crime rate in Panama is significantly lower than many US cities and flights between America and Panama are relatively inexpensive. Making the transition even more simple and appealing, the Panama official currency is currently the US Dollar. South America has also become an American retiree favorite as they offer affordable living in all kinds of enjoyable atmospheres.
Americans aren't only going tropical for their retirement. Trends are showing that some retirees are even venturing so far as to the Philippines and Thailand. Similar to Mexico and other close countries, many physicians are trained in the US and are able to offer health care at a competitive price. Many retirees find the culture to be exotic and the locales friendly and kind. Most American retirees have no problem affording living in these places, living off of only a few thousand dollars each month.
With popular retirement locations such as Florida seeing a rise in cost of living and real estate, it is no suprise that many Americans are choosing to live their retirement years overseas. There is something for everyone- at an affordable price!
